St. Germain High School and Pre-University College is a labour of love.  It was started in the year 1944 by Rt. Rev. Thomas Pothacamury, the Archbishop of Bangalore.  St. Germain comes under the administrative control of the Archdiocesan Board of Education, Bengaluru.

In commemoration of the Diamond Jubilee of the founding of the School, the Pre-University College was envisioned and founded in the year of 2005.


With an excellent and state of the art infrastructure, the college is well equipped to churn out the future leaders of our nation.  St. Germain believes in imparting value based education: its motto is : ‘Ad Augusta Per Angusta – Triumph Through Trials’.  The ultimate aim of education is the Glory of God which consists in ‘man being fully alive – Gloria Dei Est Homo TotaliterVivens’.
