There will be two monthly tests and two term examinations during the academic year for std I to IX, four monthly tests and two examinations for PUC.
Question sheets and answer sheets for the examinations and tests are provided by the institution.
Serious misconduct or malpractice in an examination disqualifies students from the entire examinations.
Students will not be allowed to sit for the term or for the final examination unless their fees are paid in full before the examination.
Besides marks, grades will also be awarded to the students and it will be indicated in the progress reports. The index of the grading scheme will be found in the progress report card and calendar.
The pupil’s progress, assessed by any means of these unit tests and term Exams, is communicated to parents, periodically, by means of the progress record, which also includes a report on conduct and attendance. Normally, less than 75% of yearly attendance disqualifies a pupil to the next higher class.
Promotion to the higher class will be determined on the basis of marks obtained in the test and term exams held during the year. The pupil’s achievement in co-curricular activities too, is taken into consideration.
Results declared at the end of the year are final in all cases.
In case parents want to withdraw their wards from any class of the institution, they should do so before 10th of May.
The ICSE Examination is conducted in the beginning of March.
